A surging trend in the notebook market has been the growth of third party AC adapters. If one wanted a replacement AC adapter a few years ago, it was necessary to turn to the manufacturer of one’s notebook. Today many are turning to the dozens of AC adapters designed by third party providers, especially because of more competitive pricing. One of those providers is FSP Group.
Founded in 1993 FSP Group has risen to become the sixth largest producer of PSU’s (Power Supply Units) in the world. They have develop and designed power conversion adapters for servers, flat screen TV’s and notebooks. Today, we will be looking at one of their notebook AC adapters, the NB65 CEC.

What better way than to end our CeBIT 2010 highlight strip than with a parade of new notebook coolers. A few makers brought some new product to the table with Zalman leading the charge. They effectively doubled their current line of notebook coolers while Titan continued its innovative ways and Cooler Master refreshing the old.

We were slated to visit CeBIT this year but instead we’ve ended up in the Olympic City of Vancouver. However we still have some highlights from the exhibition.
For those who do not know what CeBIT is, it is the largest technology exhibition in Europe though it’s no secret that the event has seen fewer exhibitors and visitors recent years. According to welt.de in 2001, roughly 8100 companies participated in the event and there were 850, 000 visitors. This year 4,157 companies showed off their latest and greatest products with considerably fewer visitors.
In this article we will concentrate on the peripherals as well as take a look at the latest SSD.
