Laptop Lifts is a company based in the US with the vision of providing a simple way of protecting your laptop from heat and spills on your desk. The idea for Laptop Lifts was developed as a result of unsuccessfully firstly trying a book, secondly two pencils and then two pencils and a stick-on cover to achieve such protection.

Razer

“For Gamers By Gamers”.  Razer began its life back in 1998 when by Min-Liang Tan and Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff launched the brand.  Based in California, Razer has become an international leader in gaming peripherals.  These peripherals include, mice such as the renown DeathAdder, keyboards and gaming controllers.

Seagate

Founded as Shugart Technologies in 1979, Seagate is one of the long-established hard drive manufactures with now over 54,000 employees and sold its one-billionth Hard Drive in April 2008. Focused on storage devices from the beginning, Seagate has remained committed to the storage market selling now external storage devices as well as laptop, desktop and network storage devices.

SilverStone

Now a well-know computer DIY supplier and home entertainment manufacturer SilverStone released its first products in 2003 expanding their product lines and markets ever since. Based on a philosophy that stresses expertise, consistency, first class aesthetic appeal and high customer satisfaction, SilverStone products include desktop and media cases, power supplies, coolers, storage devices, input devices, audio devices, fans, and other accessories such as case bags and side panels.

Sunbeamtech

Based in Taiwan, Sunbeamtech was originally founded in 2000 with a specialization in cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL). Since then they expanded their product line targeting the computer “Do It Yourself”- market with products ranging from gaming cases to cooling and external HDD enclosures.

Tacens

When Tacens talks silence it means business.   The name alone (Tacens) is defined as silent in Latin and states “Tacens products are made by silence lovers to silence lovers.”.  Founded over half a decade ago they have based the brand specifically around cooling, both desktop and laptop, but have since expanded to include peripherals such as speakers and keyboards.

Vantec

Another based in America company, Vantec was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in California.  Focusing its line on storage, thermal and mobile solutions they have been able to make some of their lines become mainstream words; these include Nexstar, Lapcool and Tornado among others.  Moreover to ensure their position in the global market they have established an office in Taiwan and China to keep up with the latest in technology.

 

Vizo Technology Corporation

Founded in Taiwan back in 1992, VIZO’s philosophy is to “share results among the employees, build trust with our customers, maximize efficiency in our work and innovation in our designs.” For a now global customer base, VIZO manufactures and designs computer storage, cooling, and peripheral products such as the Vizo Ninja Notebook Cooler that we had the opportunity to review.

 

Zowie Gear

Zowie Gear is a relatively new company in the notebook accessories and gaming market.  Based in Huntington Beach, CA, USA their current product line includes mouse pads, headsets as well as other accessories. Further, they have teamed up with Microsoft for their bundles including next to Zowie Gear mice accessories also a Microsoft IO1.1 optical mouse with special coating. The products are available across North America and in selected countries in Europe, South America and Asia.
